The value of self

Written by Kathryn Moura.

Have you stopped a moment in the day to value and appreciate yourself? The way in which we see ourselves has a great impact on our relationships with others.  Insecurities, fears, lack of acceptance of our physical appearance or personal traits can all reflect on the way we communicate with and come across to others.   It doesn’t matter what profession you are in, the person you carry with you every day is yourself.

Take a moment to consider your strengths, what you’re good at, what you accept about yourself and what you don’t accept. If you can’t change what you don’t like, accept it.  “ The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be” - Ralph Waldo Emerson. You are your most precious asset, protect it.

There has never been, not will there ever be another one of you. “Be yourself;  everyone else is already taken. “ - Oscar Wilde.
